Bora's Responsibility to Navigate COVID-19

A message from Bora’s CEO Bobby Sheng

A letter to our partners, customers, and all stakeholders:

As the world is fighting to contain the COVID-19 (the coronavirus), I wanted to reach out and provide an update on the actions that Bora is taking to prevent the spread of the virus, ensure business continuity, and support the health and well-being of our customers, employees and communities.

The community and employees’ health and safety are our top priority. Bora responded early on with our proactive business continuity plan. We’ve strictly implemented the guidance from WHO and the government. As such, we have taken a series of precautionary steps in response to this developing public health impact, including increased cleaning and sanitizing procedures for all our facilities. We’re committed to taking care of our team, and are constantly providing our employees with up-to-date information so they can keep themselves and their families safe. We have suspended most traveling and are conducting external and internal meetings through web conferencing. We are also encouraging sick team members to stay home to rest and make full recoveries.

As a global pharmaceutical company, we’ve always taken great pride in our high-quality production and services. We will continue manage our operations in line with our contingency plan, which will allow us to minimize the impact on our operations due to any disruption caused by the COVID-19 epidemic. To manage the risk to production and supplies, we are continuing to monitor our supply chains to assess stock levels. Although the situation is currently under control, we will maintain certain stocks and ensure the stability of our supply chain remains intact.

We don’t yet know the full extent to which the coronavirus will impact us; however, guided by our mission and values, Bora will insist on high quality, reliability, and efficiency without any compromises.

Thank you for your trust in Bora.

Sincerely,

Bobby Sheng
